Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought a 2000 Ford
mustang that a friend helped
me find being told that all it
needed was steering column
( because whoever had lost
the key so busted steering
column to crank then found
key)battery and door panels
and of course a really good
cleaning and everything
would be fine well stupid me
let said friend switch out the
steering column with one out
of his brothers totalled
mustang. Well now the car is
theft locked went back and
got the ECU and the fuel
pump power box and put
them in still theft locked tried
every trick nothing well said
friend tells me that they
gonna take ECU and have it
flashed ok np right well they
had also taking the battery
and locked the door and took
key with them tried to get a
hold of them for several days
and nothing got a ride to thier
house and while I'm waiting
for them to come to the door I
noticed that the oil cleaning
supplies and other things that
I had put in the trunk of the
car on their porch well I went
off ( wasn't pretty so I'll leave
that out) they where to bring
me the battery both ecu and
other stuff and they didn't
send everything I only have
one ECU and I know it's not
the one that flashed trying to
get my battery back (oh
which they sold to another
friend ) I don't have the money
to pay for the dealership to
flash the other ECU . I really
need a car. Anyone know a
cheap way to get it running.
Or will I be better off to part it
out or scrap it so I can have
bail money .

1 Answer
