2000 mustang base jerks while accelerating

Asked by Rbme22 Nov 11, 2017 at 03:15 PM about the 2000 Ford Mustang Coupe RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2000 mustang just changed 2 o2
sensors fuel filter spark plugs and wires
also the Pvc. I can start the car no problem
idle is fine when I accelerate on 3rd gear
past 3.5 rpm the car starts jerking and I get
no acceleration. I shut off the engine and
restart it works for about a mile and starts
jerking again. Any ideas of what it might
be?

Have you checked your MAF sensor? Clean it. Also any codes? Check engine light on?
