An EVAP leak is a fault in the evaporative emission control system (EVAP). The EVAP's function is to keep gasoline fumes in the fuel tank from reaching the atmosphere. ... The most common cause of an EVAP leak warning, or the Check Engine Light, is the gas cap not being closed properly.

I just had the same code. Ierased the codes and now the car runs fine. However the light is off and the reader states that P1326 is a permanent code. Car runs like new again with no more issues.
