My car starts fine I put it in gear and it will not go

does the engine rev up? when you press the gas pedal and in drive? then its a trans. problem ,a shift solenoid , out of trans fluid, check for burnt trans fluid , that's a rebuild needed

Hyundai sonta start when put drive it stop...but if hold on break it will go

@ James. What if it doesn’t rev? What could be broken? I was in traffic so I put it in neutral and put my foot on brake. Light turns green and I shift to Drive but it won’t respond and break pedal gets harder by each press. I restarted the “14 Sonata before it worked.
