Helping a teenager with his clutch problem. Had just changed a damaged break line, bled and all worked fine. 2 days later the clutch does not engage. Does the brake system also support the clutc

Looking at the parts for this system, is there a fifth line running from the front of the brake master cylinder reservoir down to what is called the clutch master cylinder? By the looks of this system, the fluid is coming from the brake master cylinder, but even so if the brake master cylinder had gone dry, it should not effect the clutch operation. So what to look at would be the clutch master cylinder and the slave cylinder.

If you can get to the slave cylinder. Pull the boot off the body of it. If you find fluid their you are going to need a new slave cylinder. Once you have replaced the slave you are going to have to bleed it out and that can be tricky. Will need a friend and have him pump the clutch pedal very quickly and hold to floor. Open slave bleed for a few seconds then close it. Repeat this many time and always keep the master cylinder full so you are going to want to add fluid ever couple of time you open the bleeder.
