My cruise control stopped working and my brake lights stay on what's going on

The switches on the brake pedal need adjusting. Maybe your pedal dropped.

Yep. The reason the cruise control went is the feature that turns it off when you step on the brakes, and like tenspeed said if your brake lights are on the c/c won't work. Put something under the petal ONLY WHILE PARKED to keep from draining the battery, for overnight anyway. And I hesitate telling folks to put things under the petal, please be safe about it
