I have an 04 hyundai sonata and everytime i put gas i have to press the gas pedal for it to start and have it presses so that it can go on its own and now recently its starts to accelerate by itself

the car starts to accelerate without the gas pedal being pressed and it doesnt very often now i stopped driving it cuz i dont want it to break more anyone know what it might be

Check air filter and replace if necessary, clean throttle with throttle body cleaner and add fuel injector cleaner to gas tank and check for vacuum leaks.
