My Honda starts but I have to pump the gas pedal like crazy what up with that?

Your car is 25 years old, so let's try some very important basics here. Have you checked the fuel pressure? Is the check engine or maintenance needed light on? Have you checked the car to see if there are any trouble codes stored in the memory, even if the engine light doesn't come on? When is the last time you: Had the fuel filter changed? Had the intake system cleaned? Changed the spark plugs and wires? Check those then let us know. If any codes at all, let us know EXACTLY what the code numbers are, in the exact order they show on the scanner and what it says the problem may be next to each code.
