my 1991 Honda Civic DX Starts when it wants too.

Asked by Firecpt506 Jun 16, 2014 at 02:43 PM about the 1991 Honda Civic DX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have replaced the starter thinking it was a bad starter but that did not fix the issue. I turn the key and it does not crank or anything. Sometimes it will start right up sometimes it will after a few times. sometimes it just does not at all, Luckily it is a manual tranny so I can pop the clutch with no issues. Anyone got any ideas or dealt with this issue before? I just re[placed the starter, distributor, rotor, wires plugs, oil, and ignition lock cylinder.
