Check engine light on after battery replaced

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Battery died on 2016 Nissan Altima, push button start.  After installing a new
battery, the check engine light came on.  Have driven the vehicle over 50 miles
and it still hasn't reset.  Removed the positive battery cable for 10 minutes, re
attached the cable, and the light is still on.
