Asked by Jamie Oct 29, 2020 at 08:58 PM about the 2000 Ford Expedition XLT 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi I'm having lots of issues with my 2000
Ford expedition my issue being every time I
get in my vehicle there's clicking coming
from the front fuse box and the lights are
going like crazy even well after the doors are
shut and my battery is of course dead so I
will jump it and everything will be fine until
the next time I try and start it my battery is
fine the levels in with the water are fine and
the connection terminals are fine and there's
been issues in the past where my starter
wire has been cut by an ex he's very
mechanical and I think he messed with my
vehicle again but I can't seem to figure out
what he did.

What location is this fuse box? The clicking could be a relay that has gone bad or it simply be that the battery is too weak for things to work properly. Have the battery and alternator tested.

Sounds like a dead battery. Have it load tested at your local auto parts store. Hope that helps! Jim
