2000 expedition eddie bauer 5.4 titron v8 4wd tow package options

Asked by Guru9LKD8H Sep 05, 2021 at 07:00 AM about the 2000 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

im trying to replace my radiator due to overheating
issues along with other possible repacements of the
hvac system in my 2000 eddie bauer expedition 5.4
titron v8 4wd. I see on all the sites to buy parts from
and in their descriptions will indicate they have
purchasing options with standard or heavy duty tow
pqckage as the radiator plays an important factor for
this. Ive read many forums but none of it really gave
the straight out answer to what the total amount of
tow packages available that were manufactured for
that year and model only. I need help narrowing that
down. For example the super heavy duty tow
package didnt come as an option until 2017 or later
correct so obviously the 2000 eddie bauer 5.4 v8
model should be out  the question right??

I agree because you're not using it for heavy tooling and heavy hauling I'd use the standard radiator it should be plenty for it anyway plus heavy radios are usually a thicker core
