Passenger back door came loose

Asked by MattMcD1 Nov 25, 2019 at 10:24 AM about the 2004 Hyundai Elantra GL Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So...my back passenger door came off. I was able to put it back in. It looks like the latch holding the door rusted out. I'm not sure how that happened. The other side is fine.  Is this an expensive fix?

Visit your local auto body shop. Sounds like the hinges need to be reattached to the body and possibly some rust repair. Hope that helps! Jim
