What will cause my 98 Honda Accord LX shift hard . i have changed all solenoids fluids three times and it still won't shift only when it's cold it drives fine when it's hot it does nothing ?

My 98 Honda Accord LX is Shifting very hard have
change all solenoids has changed fluid three
different times the reverse goes out when it's hot
but when the whole car is cold it drives like nothing
is wrong what could cause the problem

I got a appointment Monday to get it checked out . im just hoping i dont have to replace tranny car has 144,000 miles on it ive only had it a year paid 1500 for it. Im no expert but ive tried everything i can to what it says online.
