01 civic Lx Coupe Grinding Noise?

Can anyone help me out? I dont know much about cars, so
bare with me.. I have a 01 honda civic lx coupe
(AutoTrans). It recently started making grinding noise
under the hood, somewhere around the pulleys. I cant find
out where its coming from exactly or what it is, it sounds
like "metal grinding" or something scraping. It makes the
noise the loudest while stopped or driving slowly, once i
pick up speed you cant hear it as much. It's annoying &
embarrassing sound, someone pls help.

It needs repair- sounds like a bearing or something- on the alternator, the AC or maybe a water pump- shouldn't be too expensive if you are lucky-

Check to see if the noise changes when you engage the A/C system.. ? If it does, It prob would mean its A/C Compressor Clutch bearing. hope this helps you find the source of the noise. :)
