Honda civic 2001 issues

Asked by Vanessa Apr 19, 2014 at 12:47 PM about the 2001 Honda Civic LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car drives better on cooler days but I
can't really have the a/c on or it will turn
faster, my car runs pretty good on the high
way but sometimes all of a sudden it will
start stalling then it will start slowing down,
the engine light will come on&and then it
will turn off, ill have to let it sit for about 10-
15, 30min the most&it will come back on,
sometimes it runs pretty good but other
ever 5 min it will due the same
thing&eventually stop, it takes awhile to
turn it on, the ignition I mean. I'm having the
catalytic converter and 02 sensor changed
but idk if that will solve the issue?? Anyone?

Better get a OBD scanner ASAP so you can self diagnose or pay the piper at the dealer 120 per hour.
