Head gasket

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Coolant leak, that lead to a blown head
gasket(pulled plugs and coolant was on them).
Theres water damage in the floorboard front and
back seat and the instrument cluster doesnt work,
only the speedometer and temp gauge. Diag port
is also broken.
Paid $1500 USD for it, worth fixing up(since its my
only car) or try to get money out of it, how?

Sorry for the bad news but repairing the head gasket could possibly cost more than you paid for the car if the head is warped or cracked. Add the other water damage and I would say look for another car. Maybe find a dealer with a guaranteed trade in deal.

I work at a dealership with a shop so I get employee pricing on parts and labor...we have a pre owned car that doesnt need much(rear tires and alignment)...my issue is finances..trying to weigh my options for cost...wanted more opinions...the preowned car is a 13 accord for 12,000...
