Head gasket

Asked by Grayeli19 Sep 16, 2019 at 06:55 PM about the 2004 Honda Civic

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I purchased a 04 Honda Civic about a year ago,
orginally paid about $2,100 or $2,200 for it. Since
then we have had to replace the oil pan, a few
belts, the thermostat and sensors, the seal around
the engine, the water pump and now the head
gasket. So my question is, is it worth it to fix the
car or should I sell it for a new one?

1 Answer

Price the head gasket replacement but it will be over a grand. Then make your decision. As is the car is worth $200.
