Tail light not but not the bulb

Asked by discombato Mar 03, 2014 at 03:40 PM about the 2002 Honda Civic DX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The right tail light on my 2002 Honda Civic is out and it is not a bad bulb. The other side
taillight works just fine so I doubt there is any problems with the wires. Could this be the
socket has gone bad? Both sockets looks fine and there is not corrosion so I'm not sure.

Please Help.

First step is to check if socket is delivering 12V. Any Auto Store will sell you one for about $5 dollars.
