Fuel gauge problem

I have a 02 honda accord se and it cranks and
starts but when I hit a bump in the road the gas
gauge drops and the car shuts off. What could
possibly be the problem? I changed the main fuel
relay and the problem didn't stop

have you replaced the fuel pump recently, or maybe a ground is loose, i would look at your connections.

Which connection should I look at? And no I haven't replaced the fuel pump yet, I wanted to try and diagnose the problem before I replace it
