2003 honda civic lx how do i remove the factory radio

I need to remove the factory radio to get the serial number, to get the unlock code from the dealer

The black casing around the radio should be held in by clips. So if you carefully slip a screwdriver behind it and gently pull I think it should come undone. Try these installation guides too. http://www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/S-iHIBmGXae5R/reviews/installationguide/
