Can you put a 1993 Honda Civic body on a 2004 Subaru Outback chassis?

Kiddo wants to build a racing vehicle and this is what he would like to start with.

To do something like this you need a vehicle with the same wheelbase and a full frame, not a unibody. Then you can mount the other vehicle on that frame. I knew a guy that put a Camaro body on a 4X4 truck frame, he drove for years.
