Leak,thermostat issue,head gasket issue,fans not working,air bubble in system.
The year range 2001-2005 civics are notorious for overheating once they hit a high mileage. If you plan on keeping the car then purchase a rebuilt engine with a warranty. Swap out the old one before your headaches worsen.
