My truck will crank and run fine. But when I turn it
off, it won't start again for a couple hours.

Sandy, you may have to get your injectors tested. had a similar problem on a chevy car and ended up having bad injectors.

There are some good youtube videos on the subject, but it does require some special tools. it may be more cost effective to have someone do it rather than buy them.
