Recommended psi for 2016 Optima (17” tires)

My Optima display says low tire pressure,
even when the pressure is raised to 37-38
psi. What is the ideal psi for 17” tires?

I just purchased a Bell & Howell Air compressor with LED Light. The pressure gauge goes from 0 to 300. The gauge says kg/cm2. When I hook it up to my car tire it register 80 kg/cm2. When I check the pressure with my U.S. tire gage it says 32 lbs. pressure. I see that the unit is "Made in China". Do I have a problem here???? Was this gauge made for European use???
