Block heater cord location

Looking for the block heater cord for my 2016 explorer  Very cold out now and
forgot to locate it before.  Do the people on the assembly line get a bonus if
they can find the best hiding spot?  Has never been used yet so it has to be
wound up and probably tied to something

pop your hood. It is clipped to the back of the front radiator/ hood fan protector

OK I have a 2018-ford escape and I can not find an exit to the front for the heater plug ????

Where on a 2014 Ford Explorer can I pull the block heater cord through so it’s on the outside of the vehicle and I can close the hood
