if you look on the block, you will see a cord coming out of one of the frost plugs. that will tell you if you have one. if you do look around the drivers front (top) you will see a cord wound up. If you cant locate it ask the dealer and they will show you, some people run it through the grille, you might want to look there was well. not all Escape came with one. hope this helps, best of luck.

how to look up a 2014 ford Escape to find out if it was factory equipt with block heater.

If you can't find a cord you don't have one. You could try running the VIN to see if it came with a block heater from the factory but my guess is most heaters are aftermarket.

on my 2016 SE the block heater cord was locked on top of (a/the) fuse housing holder on the upper right hand side with hood open. In order to use the heater the hood needs to be open or unlocked leaving space for a supply cord to enter engine compartment. Ford only equip's "Cold weather States" Escape's with the free engine block heater, you'll need to define cold weather state's.

If youre facing the car under the hood, look in the top right corner. Theres a box with an icon of a plug and a book. The cord should be clipped nearby, has a cap on it, cylindrical.
