Where r the spark plugs on a 2001 Ford
expedition

They are near the valve covers towards the middle of the engine. You have to remove the coils to get to them. The rear plugs can be somewhat difficult.

Taking the PCM off the wall helps to access the back #s 3 and 4 coils/plugs. If your intake has 5.4 3V written on the top you are in for a world of head ache changing your plugs. Do not even try unless u have a Triton 3V extractor kit handy. The plugs break off inside the block and are not fun to extract. My dealership charges 3 hours plus .5 for every broken plug. So can range from a 3-7 hour job. $$$
