engin noise when first start of the day

Recently, I bought a new rav4 2015 limited 4 wheels drive.
The engine start sound is loud at the first start of the day. after 20 minutes it goes quiet. Is this normal?

No it is not normal,this sounds like lifters may need adjustment,or oil pump not pumping up the oil to lifters,it is normal to hear it for a few seconds when first started,but not for 20 minutes,have them check the oil pressure if it is not the issue it mat need some valve adjustment done.

2015? How many miles are on this car, perhaps it's being used a lot or incorrectly? Or did it run LOW on oil?

It might sound a little louder as it's warming up, but, 20 minutes??
