How do you know on a 2017 Rave4 when the rear AWD is engaged? Is there a
light or ????

on an AWD vehicle, the system is all computer controlled using the ABS wheel speed sensors, and there won't be a light, expect maybe a traction light. Though you will be able to drive without slipping.
