I have a 97 Sonoma that the fuel pump won't engage. I checked out and found that I had no power going to pin 86 when you turned the key to start. I replaced the wire coming from the ECU so there is power there now but I'm still not getting the pump to work. If you supply power to pin 87 the truck starts. I also switched relays and still no start

I thought there was suppose to be car gurus on here. Looks like none are smart enough to answer this. Guess I'll have to find a site where there are people who actually can solve car problems. Very disappointed on this site
