Is any one else having issues with 2015 Jeep Latitude 4WD coming out of Park?

Asked by roxieblue2015 Jun 11, 2015 at 10:05 AM about the 2015 Jeep Cherokee Latitude 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just purchased a 2015 Jeep Latitude on Saturday June 6th. Already I am having
issues with it coming out of Park. It will not engage in to reverse, This has happened  7
times already. Very frustrating! I just have to sit there until it decides to go into reverse
which can take up to 10 to 15 minutes. I took to dealer this morning and was told they
have not heard of any problems like this and as of now nothing can be done. It only has
200 miles on it.

Take it back and ask for an exchange or to return it. Most dealers will allow you to return a vehicle if its with a few days of purchase. You can always call the sales manager and see what the return / exchange policy is. Good Luck

Sounds like an unhelpful dealer- they sold you the car new? And the salesman won't come out to help you figure it out? Take it to a different dealer- the attitude of "we sold it, now, goodbye" is outrageous- let them know that you will report them to the district rep, the better business bureau, the Attorney General, Fiat Chrysler of America- Fiat is trying hard to make a good impression here in America, and they would not be happy to find out a dealer is providing poor customer service-

The single biggest consumer complaint is transmission issues................ http://www.carcomplaints.com/Jeep/Cherokee/2015/ If the dealer claims that they have never heard of these issues, they are lying. Demand a full refund and get yourself a Tundra.
