Brake lights stay on after release.

Asked by Guru6ZL9 May 12, 2017 at 12:36 AM about the 1998 GMC Sonoma 2 Dr SLE Extended Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just like the first question, I have a 1998 Sonoma, v-6 extended cab. With the
20 amp brake fuse installed and I hit my brakes, the brake lights in the tail
lights stay on but the 3rd brake light tyrns off like it is supposed to. I have
repaced the brake pedal switch but still have the problem.
