How do I tell if the fuel pump is out on my 1999 GMC Yukon without towing it to a mechanic?

It sounds like it is going to start but just won't catch...Battery is fine and there
is gas in the tank...

Easier, get a can of starting fluid. Spray some down the throttle body and start it. If it runs for a second then it's fuel related. If it doesn't change anything then it's not

I have a 2003 yukon denali xl gmc truck and it will not start at all but when I try to it makes a noise.I bought a new battery,alternator and starter and it still not starting.Somebody please help me.

I Have A 07’ Yukon SLT. And I been Having battery drainage problems lately.. it will be working Fine than one minute I while get back in it to drive and it will be Dead! Get a jump, it comes back on and be fine for weeks than one day it just dies again? Not sure what’s wrong? But what I did find out is that the owner before me had Speakers hooked up and the loose Wirer's are still running under my seats and in my truck the other end of the wiRers that ran to the speaker is just thier live wirers with nothing hooked to it?
