That's a good one. I've seen similar happenings on vehicles with adjustable thermostats when the vehicle has two electric radiator cooling fans and one is defective, but it happens rhythmically when driving straight ahead. Question: If the vehicle is parked and running, will it do the same thing if the wheel is turned to the left or right while stationary?

Not sure on the new vehicle, as I have not torn into one as of yet. If the vehicle was older, it would sound like a vacuum problem where vacuum is being lost when turning. But I suspect on a newer vehicle it's controlled via electric. At any rate the 2016 should be under warranty. Take it to Ford, they probably know what the problem is straight away.
