Car randomly stalls when taking off in first gear?

My car randomly stalls when i take off, it doesnt happen all the time, Its a 5 speed, when i take off like normal it will sometimes randomly stall and i have to restart the car, one time it stalled and then unstalled because i was moving, i tried taking off again and the RPMs were going up but no speed. Is this a slipping clutch? I dont think i did anything wrong and i drive the car fine in my opinion, It just started doing it.
sounds more like the throw out bearing is being silly. heres a good rule of thumb. pull the E-Brake. somewhere safe in a parking lot that is empty do this. leave the car in Neutral and SLOWLY release the clutch pedal while in first gear. Do not give the car gas. IF the car stalls then your clutch is performing like normal. if the car does not stall out then its time for a clutch job. Also when you're in there is best to replace all 3 components at the same time.
Thanks for the reply, I will test this tomorrow when its not raining as much. Thanks for the help!
I have a 91 Accord kinda the same issue. Cars been beat to hell. Clutch throw out had been making lots of noise. Was in 5th when shifted into neutral for a red light. Upon trying to get moving, the engine stalled. Now regardless of the gear in the 5 speed manual, even nuetral, when the clutch pedal is let out it stalls. I'm stumped and broke. I need to know what I have to do to get it operational in as little time as possible. Could the throw out bearing ceasing cause this?
