No heat

Question type: General

I have a 2002 Ford Expedition 5.4 4x4.
It will blow out heat from time to time
but not like it should. Ive flushed the
front an the rear heater core out til
clear flowing out an flushing the
radiator as well. I've changed the
thermostat twice, changed water pump
I've bought the heater cores but was
told it my not be them since I've done
all the other. I have good blowers good
water flow what else could it be?

It will be what is called a blend door actuator motor,that control,s heat to cool,it is located under the dash on top of the blower box. https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/Discussion- t817_ds616385

if you can reach the heater core hoses from the engine bay see if they are both nice and hot that a sign of clear heater core , see if you can hear the [door] opening when you work the selector switches
