Question type: General

I have heat on low when I switch it to high it heats
then decreases in temp. Could it be the resistor?

The higher the flow of air the lower the air temperature at least to a point. The heater core can only provide so much heat. If the heat drops really low I would suspect a partially plugged up heater core. In that case flush the cooling system.

If the thermostat is stuck open it could cause a low heat issue. Check the temperature gauge on the dash.
