What is wrong with the bad cylinder? The engine will run but roughly.

Yeah, you can, but if you don't pull the spark plug out of the bad one to release compression it will run like crap, just as Full_of_Regrets says. And it still won't run all that great, and if you are planning to get a new engine soon, all the junk that gets in the plug hole no worries

Still like to know what is wrong with the bad one? If it has thrown a rod, either from wrist-pin or from crank, bottom end.... broken piston, then I retract that you can drive it...except for a very short time. Oil will get in crankcase, all sorts of problems. If the problem is in the top-end - the head, then you can squeeze a few more miles out of it. To shut off injector you need to unbolt fuel rail and remove injector. Remove it and plug the opening in the fuel rail and you can leave the injector out, does the same thing as removing spark plug.. allows no pressure in cylinder.
