I owed a 2006 "John Cooper Works" Mini-S for 7yrs. with DSC (dynamic stability control) & limited slip differential option. It was very good in the AZ. mountainous roads. I'm sure the new AWD Countrymen or Clubmen are good too, Look into a DSC option if available.
