2014 Toyota Camary A/C not blowing cold air

Asked by Michael Apr 24, 2020 at 03:12 PM about the 2014 Toyota Camry LE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2014 Toyota Camary that will not blow cold air. I have a Maxsys diag tool and here are the results.

From inside:

All the indicator lights work.
The fan blows hot air.

In the engine:

The A/C has freon static 150psi and running at 45psi
the A/C compressor is not coming on
Using the Maxsys, I can engage the A/C relay and hear the A/C comp engage and the RPM's verify that comp was engaged.

Inside: I can feel the cold air on the passenger veny but the driver side still blows hot air.

Looking for any direction as to where to check or part replace. If anyone has any electrical / system diagrams that would be helpful

Thanks

Automobile AC Systems malfunction is usually diagnosed with a Preesure Guage Set. This tool references both high and low side pressures with the engine running....and ...not running. With the engine not running...one might see both high and low side pressures about the same reading...after the engine is off for about 15 min. Pressure should be close to ambient Temp. With the engine running and the AC is on Max....high blower speed....the high side should read around 150 to 250 psi......the low side should read...30 to 50 psi....with the compressor running. If the compressor is not turning on....then you are correct....a wiring diagram ....a Digital Volt Meter is needed for further diagnosis.
