Any advice on why my vehicle wont start on its own?

Ive been having issues getting my car to start the
past week where it acts as if the battery is dead.
Clicking or slow crank no start. Brand new battery
and alternator is good. Now ive noticed that i can
jump it and it'll start right up or give it a little gas
and that works as well. Both for cold start. It will
usually start after its been running but still a rough
start. Once its started it runs as normal. Any ideas?
