BMW 2014 428XI Warning light questio

Asked by jvillejoe Oct 10, 2016 at 04:42 PM about the 2014 BMW 4 Series 428i xDrive Coupe AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2014 428XI, with 14,000 miles, has three warning dash lights and audible alarm going off.  First, hood open light, then engine compartment hot light and now the drive train warning light keeps coming on. I know my hood is locked in place so I guess that one is just a sensor.  I also assume the same with the engine compartment hot light and the drive train light as well.  I have to drive 2 hours to my dealer and while I think this is just the sensors am I ok to drive it down!
