Car will not accelerate

Car starts and when you push the
gas pedel it does nothing. It will only
idle.

Could be bad throttle position sensor. Would scan for codes first.

When you're in Drive, does "Drive" light up in the dash? May have a broken linkeage bushing, very cheap to fix, about $4.

My truck is doing the same also. I was on the highway and acceleration just went out. Somebody please help
