I just found out that the reason my remote starter button on my key fob isn't working is due to a "radio frequency" module/problem and is going to cost a whopping $600 to fix at my Jeep dealer. And as you can guess, it's not covered under my extended warranty! To get to my question ... is this a part that is easily fixed by a seasoned mechanic or is it buried and would take an army to get to it under the hood?

I don't know where it is but you could check with an independent mechanic to see if you can get a better price.

1995 Jeep Cherokee OverheatingHello all,Got a slight over-heating problem with my Jeep. Actually I noticed this from about 2 years ago and it's still the same today.When I'm stuck in bad traffic, or sit at a red light for too long, the temperature gauge would slowly creep upwards over the middle marker toward the third marker. I have not had it sitting idle for so long that it went into the last red region.But as soon as I start driving again, the temperature drops back down below just under the halfway mark.To me it sounds like an airflow problem, i.e. the engine is not getting enough airflow when it's sitting idle.Could this be the fan? Or a clogged or dirty radiator?I see two fans. The fan on the right always spins. The fan on the left does not spin when the engine is started. I broke a bolt (one of 3) trying to remove the hub on my 98 cherokee. The vice grips are slipping as I try to remove the tip by screwing it out from the front. Is there an easier and surer way to get out that remaining tip? 1 Answer

Cranked out the bolt side just to find out that the bolt had broken off and the tip still remains in the hub.

I have a 1995 jeep grand cherokee limited. the truck runs great. thank god! lolHow ever the none of my windows will go down now they did at one point, i checked the fuse and is fine. I also can seem to move my electronic side mirrors. The computer display inside the truck keeps flashing the date and time and the windshield area of truck diagram. Also the radio is acting funny.
