had no heat, shop said I needed new ratorator, well new radiator and $368 later, still no heat, now they say my motor is just shot. but it runs to good for me to believe that, any sujestions?

Took car to shop thinking I just needed a ratoator flush, cause I had no heat, well the shop
said the ratorator had a hole in it, and that's why I had no heat, well a new ratorator and
$368 later, still no heat, now they say my motor is just shot. 2000 jeep cherakee, it runs to
good for me to believe that, any sujestions?

Don't fall for that "engine is shot", especially since it runs well and does not blow smoke of any color. That place tried to play you for a fool, a hole in radiator cause of no heat. Ludicrous.

There is a valve that shuts coolant on/off to heater core that may be stuck...just one of many possibilities, click for full screen
