2014 2.5 Outback Towing a boat short distance

Thinking about towing a catboat (2500 lbs) to and from house, maybe once a
week, under a mile. The only incline is the boat ramp. This is under the 2700
lbs limit ... should I be worried?

I think you are OK. You can't heat up the transmission in a mile. Hopefully it can pull it up the ramp.
