05' Crown Vic Police Interceptor with 82k m, it shifts fine most of the time, randomly, it will have a slight slip between 2nd and 3rd gear. Could this be the shift module, neutral switch, or tranny?

How dose the transmissionfluid look? If its dark and smells bad that's not a good sign.you could change your fluid but that could be a waist of money if the tranny is fried. Is the CEL on? Even if it isn't, take it to a auto parts place that offers a free OBC scan. Its worth a try before you go and replace the transmission.
