This is itching my brain... unplugged wire behind cyl 4.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

While working on my 4.6L Crown Vic, i stumbled
upon a unplugged wire routing from the engine
wire harness. Right behind cyl 4.  Been trying to
find where it plugs into for weeks. Anyone willing
to share any knowledge, Would be a great service.

I wonder if it goes to the EGR valve?

I have a similar engine and the EGR valve is near that vacuum connection.

Plugs into the top of a stud off of the fuel rail back bolt
