is my intake cracked?

sounds like it if its a 4.6 its got the plastic fantastic intake and you get all kinds of weird cracks with it

sounds more like a head gasket to me that has blown, hold your hand over the smoke when you first start the car (so you wont burn yourself) and see if any coolent is leaking,,,

it is a 4.6, 97 crown vic. does have plastic intake. my oil is not milky, so that is why i was thinking intake. thank you.

Definately a cracked intake manifold

He said he getting water out tailpipe .gentleman said blown head gasket .?What if it's a true dual exhaust. And get water out both pipes .I put fuel pump.filter .spark plugso-rings on injectors.new air intake .06 crown vic 4.6 after idling a little bit it smokes white .then stops .and on acceleration acts like misfire or not getting or not taking the fuel

Certain years of 4.6 liter Crown Vics have an all plastic intake manifold. I replaced mine myself. I should have done more research because it's a manufacturing defect. I heard there was a recall, so you might take it to the dealer and see if you could get it fixed for free.

Water coming out from tailpipes it is one process of the Today's Exhaust Systems: it converts (NOx) in the exhaust gas into water vapors and nitrogen. Engine Overheating and coolant on intake is NOT. Check: both Intake Manifold gaskets and Cylinder Head gaskets, PVC Valve, CK vent connector and hose. Thanks.
